Definatly Silent Hill.. heh, the scariest thing about Resident Evil 1 was the voice acting
(actually, the reason I liked RE1 was the horrid voice acting.. "you were almost a Jill sandwich!") But still, RE was scary for a while, but after the 75th time something would jump through something else to try and scare me, it just got to the point of "yeah yeah yeah, whatever." But with Silent hill 1 (the scariest in my opinion) you get t.v's showing the imagine of the characters daughter (Cheryl) being cruicified! Silent Hill was MUCH more disturbing. (I always get into arguments about which game is scarier, RE or SH
) Plus, i think SH2 is the first game to actually have a main character commit suicide in a really dark, depressing way (not like saving some other people by diving in front of a bullet, we're talking about just plain suicide!)
Anywhoo that's just my opinion. (I'm also a horror movie geek
)
