but i'm pretty sure the dude means the techno one, admittedly most which is pretty subpar. but just like in hardcore (punk), which, too, is filled with 90% sputum, there are a few exceptions to the rule. some emotional hardcore is pretty awesome (known as screamo/skramz [proper screamo, not what 13 yos call My Chemical Romance])
