You're suggesting that rules against adultery don't come under the category of 'Be good to other people'?
In any case, anything I say about the bible is going to come from a very different perspective than what Splat says. Jewish tradition points out that the bible cannot be understood entirely literally; it needs the context of the talmud to make sense. Any issue you might have with Leviticus has been discussed and explained a millenia and a half ago in the Talmud's pages.
