Also, I think you should start doing re-paints on all of these toys you buy. Or at least some. It's fun.

I do this with almost every action figure I buy nowadays, even if its just a simple clean-up job to make them look as nice as the picture of the hero model on the box.
Also a big fan of the blank vinyl figures, I've been meaning to buy a case of them for years. For a while I was buying blank cloth dolls and making my own crazy voodoo critters, I should get back into that.
