OOC: Maybe I should actually post something then. Well, here goes
IC: A Slig guard placed the ticket into his pocket, he not being able to do so himself meant that was the only option to hand. The click of several long black nails striking the metal platform before he hopped aboad a train to take him off. Being now out of a job after his last workplace folded, it had taken him some time to gather up the moolah just to get a train ticket, so hopefully this wasn't a lost cause. Strange looks and hushed mutterings from other passengers, mostly Sligs, onboard were quietly quashed by a stare from a pair of deep-set orange eyes. Coming upon a chair that would be of some comfort, he slid himself into it, placing his hands onto an adjacent chair so they would not be in contact with whatever mess the last passenger sitting here hand left upon the floor. Soon after, the pair of glowing orange eyes closed, there was no need to be awake for the entire journey after all...
Jolted awake by the annoucement of the arrival to his destination, he hopped up, shuffling along the carriage with his awkward gait, hopping off onto the platform and turning around to see the train pull out soon afterward. Not the sort of place that most would want to stay around, given what had happened here before with regards to terrorists. He had kept telling his last company they should be allowed to invest in the invention of a device that stopped bird portals being formed, but did they listen to him? Like they ever did. Why should they have done anyway? He was just a chump, a low class Glukkon that they had kept around because he happened to know what he was doing, unlike the incompetant managers which helped lead the place to its downfall. Still, that was in the past now, so maybe this is the sort of place where he could move on. His uneven gait made the sounds of his nails on the platform seem rather haunting as he made his way to the back of the platform, looking around at the doors nearby, limping his way through a door which landed him right in the middle of a corridor...where his ears picked up on some noise. Given the previous history, what a noise to be greeted by.
