Seriously, a game should not take a lot of patience. Most of us show enough patience with people or situations in our daily lives, we don't need to show more of it in our free time.
In our free time we want to shoot the fucker in the face who tells us to be patient... as quickly as possible.

It's a matter of personal tastes... Some people like spending time on the details, storylines and whatnot, while others just like blowing shit up. I like both =D
