I don't think world peace is impossible. Like I said, in the sense of demilitarization, it's not out of reach. I just don't see how just acknowledging it as a possibility makes any difference in the long run. Affirmative action has to be taken, and a lot of it at that. How many of you can claim to be an active member of an underground political movement? To have taken part of a protest, large or small, for reasons other than 'ololprotest. i am make difrence'? How many of you are actually aware of what goes on between international governing bodies and big businesses? Of the above, I've only taken part in one, and for dubious reasons at that.
You'll argue that you don't need to be involved in such things to make a difference, but yes, you do. Ultimately, every single person that is "aware" of these issues has to be involved in something to even slightly tip the scale. Saying "Hey I care!" hardly justifies a lack of actual action.
