I agree with Nate. Lethargy isn't the issue here, we all care about the state of the world, and any reasonably educated individual will tell you changes need to be made, problems need to be addressed.
The issue is that the methods we have are not going to sway those running the globe. No matter how many of us show up to protests, there's so much going on that the public will never know or understand that comes into play in matters like this. Too grandiose and complicated. Dismissing it as "lethargy" is just as lethargic.
