I personally, don't buy fireworks for Bonfire Night (A UK event held on the 5th of November) or New Year. Instead, I just go up the mount (big hill overlooking nearby towns) and watch from there.
All the people letting off fireworks is a nice sight. Nice free fireowkrs display.
