To save the page, I have condensed your post. I'm not aiming this at that particular part.
I see your point, but it's my principles (and standards) that stop me from watching this stuff, not my tastes. I enjoy seeing unlikeable people humiliate themselves, but I don't see this show as anything other than a big freak show, which I believe is wrong. If someone makes a fool of themselves, that's fine. If someone goes on television thinking that they're good, and don't realise that they're humiliating themselves, and the presenters are aware that this will happen, I don't see it much less cruel than belittling people because they are fat or unattractive.
Although, at the end of the day, it's each to their own.
