Crunchy twitched as he slowly regained his vision. Clambering to his feet, he became aware of the robot (SU-01) staring in his direction. It seemed harmless now. He warily backed away, until he noticed the mudokon (Hembar) beckoning to him. In the more open space of the room, he could make out the dim blue glow around her hands, and a few plucked shafts of feathers. He knew this was a native, like the ones who had cared for him, who held life sacred. Silently he nodded and ambled forwards, pausing as something on the ground took his attention. He inspected the brown fragment of shell, tucked it under his claw and followed on.
