Everyone is under the impression that Daniel Craig is some sort of genius for portraying Bond as a tough-guy, no-bullshit ruthless son of a bitch with no questions asked. I don't think this was some amazing artistic licence taken by Craig,

I think that I really don't care how Craig portrays bond.
However, by coincidence, his portrayal is much closer to the original books than the previous films.
