Progress update!!!
I've written a chapter and a half, right up to where the story ties into the RPG, and I can go no further without re-reading the RPG and writing it out. So here's how my plan goes. I'm going to read at least up to the end of W@RF 2 - the one where Anni and her friends arrive, as well as the rest of T-nex's characters - taking notes as I go. At that point I might choose to read W@RF 3, too. If I still really feel the need, I'll go on to W@RF 4, but at the moment I think I'll stop at three.
Once I've got enough notes, I'll start writing. I'm going to be very selective of what I take from the RPGs; I only want events that develop members of my main cast, so characters that come in and are good friends with Anni for 12 posts before disappearing won't get in (sorry, you people.) How long I go for depends on how much usable material I get, but Dionysia joins W@RF at the start of W@RF 5, and as that'll mark the start of Part 7 of the story, I'll write the rest of Part 6 before reading and taking notes on those.
I'll probably start posting chapters when I have my notes. I'll still be using the RPGs for reference, but with an idea of what my plot's going to be, things will go much quicker from there. Hopefully I can start writing again before the end of October, so with a lot of luck chapter 30 will be up before the end of this month (depending on how much reading I can get done, and how quickly the note taking goes; when it comes to actually writing the chapters things should go quicker than it has this last year as most of the plot will be laid out for me).
