Wow, I so totally need to keep up with the fanart in FC! (I don't know why I don't; I struggle away with fanfiction when art is so much easier to keep up with!)
I've gotta say that I've really loved most of the stuff in this thread, particularly
this and
this.
The slig is so noir, so atmospheric, and the glow from his mask is brilliant; the picture really draws you in, makes you wonder where he is, what he's thinking; it's full of mystery, which is exactly how noir should be.
And the mudokon girl is brilliant... I sort of imagine her transforming in a shrykull-like manner, but she was neither expecting or wanting the change, and the suggestion of blood on her arms and neck says that this is quite a hideous experience, somehow not 'right' like the skrykull is. I would love to know what she's becoming, and how and why. I could see this becoming an entire story if I thought about it long enough!
