I think he's saying something along the lines of "how can Christianity be causing the problem when coutnries governed by other religions also have teen pregnancy issues".

But who says that the overpopulation stems from teen pergnancies in thise countries?
Granted some religions and cultures do encourage younger people to have kids... i think.
