Derren Brown is quite good at what he does. Doesn't change the fact that his explanations are confusing as heck (but he does that on purpose!).
Racism is a bad thing, but racist jokes have a time and a place. Jokes aren't supposed to have a deep philosophical meaning, they're meant to make you laugh. If they succeed, job done. If not, then that comedian has failed!
