I can't believe I nearly didn't even see this thread, but see it I did and I must say it was a very good piece of work!
I thought I better post my comments in this story since Splat was trying to blame my lack of comments on The Despicable for the lack of progress on said story
I like the way you described it from the mudokons point of view, how they're almost naive in a way but obviously crafty too - with the whole trying to get Nine out of trouble thing, even if it failed in the end.
My only gripe with it is that, given the mudokon reproductive model, I wouldn't think mudokons would actually
give milk
But that's just my opinion.
