Please don't tell me you're clumping all of metal together. Grindcore and Prog metal are as different as hip hop and trance.

I'm concerned mostly with the culture of "I'm so angry" rock. Anyone who is genuinely as angry as these people appear to be are ridiculous morons who just haven't quite gotten the "I'm in charge of my own destiny" idea down yet. The ones who aren't genuinely that angry are worse. They are just cashing in on the angsty teenagers.
Some of it tongue in cheek, and some of it is genuinely honest and thoughtful. I get that. And I listen to that stuff, as well. But most of it isn't. 99 percent of it is
fucking terrible.
