The combat killed the game for me. I couldn't get past the bit where you fight your mutant father. Maybe one of these days I'll try it again with an invincibility cheat or something.

Don't bother, just dispatch the regular enimies first, take a walk up to your daddy and keep circling him in a side-step 'till he attacks (90% chance he'll miss), then mash the fucking attack button untill he blocks, then repeat.
