I approach all political issues with an open mind. For the vast majority of time my beliefs and opinions similarly match those of the left (and further left, sometimes) - but will from time to time find that they match those of the right.

I'm tired of looking at politics in terms of left and right. It's the same reason why I don't do political parties. All of this labeling and businesslike categorization of politics has made politics into an even greater game than it already was. "I'm Libertarian, what do you drink?"

However, I still think political parties are necessary for America. Determining candidates, getting the proper support for them, etc. In Pennsylvania, you have to be a registered party member to vote in the congressional elections.
