another thing....this sounded some what like a family structure, which makes me wonder if this was just a case of severe inbreeding that eventually uncovered a hidden family gene for gigantis(sp)...since they all sound very similar in appearence, perhaps that was the case, and rather than having the whole population, or tribe, or whatever tainted by these odd people, they were taken away and killed...it obviously sounds as if the people who buried them didn;t want them getting out...hmm
