I more really just listen to music I like rather than particular bands. So usually metal/hard rock/rock/alternative.
Although my favorite band is Metallica, and I am a member of their fan club. Other bands I like are Fear Factory, Pantera, Nirvana, Live, Powderfinger, Linkin Park, Offspring, and a few others.
And of course I love FF music by Nobuo Uematsu (ok... it's not really a band, but I had to add that!
).
