And Mother's Day in May, which is handy for my family because my Dad's birthday is in the first half of the year and mum's the second half, so their respective celebrations are well spaced out.
Though we don't actually do all that much. Traditionally we take dad out to dinner somewhere and forget to bring our wallets so that he has to pay anyway. And for mum we generally make scones, jam and cream.
I fully support OddjobAbe's Uncle Day concept. Even if I'm still not an uncle.
