I know. The Sligs are supposedly a super species, but I did say above the image that this is not accurate to the Oddworld narrative canon. I just thought it was nice. Besides, who says it's not a worker looking after the young? It's ant workers who look after the ant larvae.

They would have originally been a free race, but now the majority are sold to industries at birth. But they are a natural race. They supposedly evolved from slugs.

I don't get these comments. I deliberately made a point of making the eyes seem small, beady and helpless. I get those specifications directly from the Art of Oddworld book, and the Oddworld Encyclopaedia.
