hey, interesting topic, I always wondered about the names. Mudoken is the most intersting one. Mudos, the region of oddworld where the action is taking place, sounds a lot like mundane, of which the etymology (the origin of the world) is the following:
Late Middle English mondeyne < Old French mondain < Latin mundanus < mundus, which means world.
I fact, the first definition of mundane is "of this world; worldly."
Also, one must think of the Mudoken tribes, Mudanchee and Mudomo. Mundanchee < Apache, ?
Aapche is derived from American Spanish, probably, form of a Zuni expression
apachu, which means enemy.
Mudomo, I cant find anything on. It sounds like a nice tribal name, though.
