I never noticed the connection between 'Molluck' and 'mollusc'. I always thought that Molluck's name was based on 'Moloch', who's some evil dude in the Bible, I think. It means 'devil' in Greek or Latin; I can't remember which.
As for 'Aslik', I think the 'arse-lick' idea is quite groovy. It never occured to me before.
'Phleg' sounds quite like 'phlegm', but I can't see any connection between those. 'Phlegmatic' means calm, so maybe it's an oxymoronic pun; his name sounds like a word meaning 'calm', but he's actually rather aggressive.
'Dripik' sounds like 'drip', which he probably is.
We still don't know what the Brewmaster's real name is; I've been meaning to ask Alf about that.
