But basically, if poor health results from the body's inability to handle something, is it smart to keep introducing that something into your system? Why should death be the line anyway? People say you have to die at some point, but do you want to do it choking to death? That's the main reason my mom quit.
No, of course not, I think it's be pretty senseless to keep doing it with deteriorating health.... yet it is done, regardless.

While it stands that some smokers have died young of 'cancer' (the original ailment in question) it also stands that some very heavy smokers have never had an ounce of cancer in them, even at a ripe old age. This does not prove that cigarettes CAUSE cancer... it is suggested that cigarettes degrade your health. For that matter, what else can 'degrade' your health? Should we start a list?

I'm not convinced that cigarettes 'cause' cancer. A correllation exists but not a direct link.

God, I sound like a pro-tobacco lobbyist or what???
