You can see a dog is annoyed if it growls at you before you stroke it. Yet with a cat you can't tell whether it's happy or angry, and it ends up scratching you to bits.

It wags its tail and hisses when it's angry and purrs when it's happy.
This dog showed no emotion, I had no clue as to whether it would bite me or not.
Anyway, I like cats the majority don't. Is that supposed to change my mind?
