It is a fundamental principle of software development that it is impossible to remove 100% of bugs from any non-trivial piece of software.

I said nothing about removing 100% of bugs so please don't give such image. My point was that they could have remove more bugs because there is still so many. Those what I've seen in AO/AE walkthrought- and speedrun videos, would have been easily fixed if the engine were well programmed in the first place.
