I am a virgin. I'm just wholly uninterested in sex (to be honest, I can't personally understand the appeal beyond biology), I reckon I might have no sex drive or at least a severely diminished one. I'm quite happy being asexual (that's as in not sexual, not as in self-spawning...although that too). Even if I were so inclined, social phobia/borderline agoraphobia seems like an awfully big hurdle to overtake.

Apparantly you can get STI's from drinking out of the same bottle as someone. I'm not sure if this rule applies to all of them or not, but I drank out of the same bottle of Vodka (fuck up) as this girl, a day later I learned she had herpes. Thankfully, I caught nothing.
You can't really get most STI's from kissing, let alone sharing bottles. If she just had genital herpes on her genitals you could've made out all day and caught nothing. But if she had genital herpes on her mouth, then yeah you'd be at high risk of catching anything - any place that has a herpes lesion is where the virus is. Same goes for most other STIs, especially topical-type ones like herpes and warts. Everything else is very unlikely to pass via saliva. Unless they, say, blow someone with it, take a swig of whatever, then you immediately drink that. Or if someone scratched their lesion and then touched an exposed part of your body (like a cut or your eye)...I think there's an episode of House like that.
