Let's remember that 'good looking' is going to change from one person to another. It's almost too obvious to mention really but something to keep in mind.

Looks are fantastic, but lets look at this from a 'natural' and even evolutionary point of view. Part of physical attraction stems from "good looks" as choosing a 'good looking,' healthy, and even young mate is important for ensuring perpetuation of a species; it seems to me only reasonable for anyone to be 'attracted' to these things.

I think it depends on what you're looking for in a mate, and that can vary extremely especially as a self-aware, independent thinking, and sometimes-sophisticated species.

Someone who meets my 'physical tastes' won't necessarily appeal to me emotionally or with any depth beyond their body, which is a .... um, 'psychological' turnoff I guess.

Can anyone say one-nighter?
