Wow, thanks for the mention. In general, you told a meaningful story of a Slig. You fanfic stood out from the other ones that I have read and it certainly inspired me to write quite a few of my own stories.
Edit: The final chapter was both an exciting finale and a worthwile conclusion to an excellent series. The poetic justice reminds me of the Shakespeare stories in a way;
When Nox is killed by the person that he accidently strangled at the beginning of the story. The plotpoint reminds me of a film but I can't think of the name of it right now

I like the epilogue which explains what happens to the characters at the end of the story. In a way, the reason why Nox died was all because that stupid captain didn't give him a promotion. Oh well, that's quarma for you. One thing that did confuse me,
didn't Nox already know about Stollin's betrayal from Wrask a long time before he told him?
