I was quite surprised to see Khain go on a rampage. I thought he would just exit more quietly... Isn't it a bit hypocritical for him to be shooting all the Sligs before they even have a chance to say "Freeze"? What if he accidently shoots Vance?
Still, I really like the action packed nature of this story, you've done a great job of setting up the Slig characters without making them overly melodramatic.
