I am lucky, in that my school is very Middle-Class, so the people there are very friendly, liberal sorts of people [even if some of the are a bit stuck-up

]. However, the school I went to before last year was in quite a bad area, and there was a lot of racism and sexism and things like that. I didn't get bullied much then, either, for some reason. I think it's because back then I just used to fade into the background... And of course everyone wanted help with homework at some time or another...
It's hard to give advice to people who are bullied, since it depends very much on the situation. If your school is like the one I am in, you don't tell the teachers, you tell the other pupils, and the bully is effectively ostracised. In most schools, however, ignoring them is the best policy, closely followed by telling teachers...
