well in the detention center, CO's (Correctional officers) are basic guards to the inmates, but are below Rolin, the captain of the guards.

i got the ranks out of an old dictionary years ago, i think they're the ranks used during WW1 & WW2. in the modern army i'm sure its much different now. i thought that, because Oddworld seems to have the same feel as the industrial revolution where everything was a lot bigger, heavier and almost everything was made of metal (not caring for conservation or any of that jazz), i felt that this list of ranks would fit Slig Barracks best.
Nox and his friends are all Private's, but still veterans. i'm actually in the process of writing profiles for all the characters mentioned in this story, so when i reach the end, i'll post them and you can browse at each characters history, fears, age, likes & dislikes, etc.
