That chapter was more about Stivik than Dionysia, the tough decisions destroying more and more of his better nature. His betrayal of her has huge impacts on both their lives.

Chapter length is something I've deliberated much, as many people have said my longer chapters have been off-putting. But it's just the way I want this story to be. Long chapters... Add something. I mean as a reader I was always disappointed by how quickly I got through chapters of stories I followed.
Having longer chapters allows me to build up more in each. When a chapter ends, it relieves the tension, so starting a new chapter means I have to start back from square one.
