I don't idolize the man, it just saddens me that a load of over pretentious thrill seekers on the internet seemed to have done to an iconic character what the Nazis did to Nietzsche.

Aahhhhhh. Please don't compare Alan Moore in any way with Nietzsche. I mean, good lord. The character is not that fucking iconic.
I certainly don't agree with the vast majority of what 4channers do but the act of wearing masks to signify that this is who they are doesn't bother me in the least. And it would appear that you disagree more with their tactics than with their choice of clothing. Sooooooo......yeah.
