I know i'm straying off topic a bit, but i need to ask this-
Do any of you feel it's wrong to eat or drink dairy products? or to eat eggs?
Because well...that's just silly, but i'd be curious to know how many of you vegans feel that way.
As far as the animals being horribly slaughtered, well unfortunatley, i used to work in a slaughter house for a brief time, and while it is gory, the more modernized ones don't seem to interested in slitting throats and electrocuting them.
In the SH i worked at, it was all very quick.
The cow was simply shot in the head with what looked like an industrial rivet gun..thing.
Anyway my point is this-
Some people enjoy meat, and i for one, love it.
You'd think after working in a slaughter house i'd be repulsed by meat, but i'm not. Does this make me barbaric? no. It just means that i'm aware of the fact that these animals would die any way, so why not enjoy what they have to offer? tasty tasty meat!
mmmm...
and as fr as your sausage comment Rettick-
i tend to stay away from hot dogs, just cause of what's in 'em.
