I may not be a veggian...but if I meet an animal that begged me to kill eat it it would sicken me...I would be thinking has he no will to live?.
Yes I do believe that all animals are intelligent each in their own way. I do agree with DH that it would be better if we all hunted our own food, but we have become too moderized now. My point is this: If mankind hadn't gotten so far away from nature...we wouldn't be having this debate.
