I don't think that's too healthy per se but I know what you're talking about. I went through a period like that (almost tempted to say "in my youth") but it even helped me, in a sense. When my world was falling apart (another cliche
) Oddworld was something wonderful I could hang on to. Perfect for a chronic escapist like me, I guess.
