I have to say....they're all correct.
People on this forum and elsewhere will have had/be having much worse experiences, so man up and stop moaning. You had a lively, lnog distance holiday in the middle of a really bad recession, things are not bad for you at all. Yes you've got an injury. Guess what, so have I. Not a broken bone but a bad sprain that prohibits or impedes me in doing stuff as well.

So yeah, could be much worse.
