There are different kinds of fans. There are fans who go to every interview and every autograph signing event, but there are other fans who collect all the merchandise and write fanfics... It's up to the tastes of the individual.

I'm sure when Lorne walks down the red carpet he gets trampled by the huge crowd trying to get his autograph.
So I'm not a fan if I'm not going to run away from home, and steal a couple of grand so I can fly to OWI studios to get a signiture.
