I'm not an antidrug proselytizer by any means, but I fear that some members weighing the risks and benefits of marijuana use might think from reading this that smoking marijuana is not the least bit unhealthy. I thought that this article provided a very balanced, non-condemnatory viewpoint, and yet it suggests that the effects of marijuana smoke are no better (nor worse) than those of tobacco:

I'm not suggesting what the results of the cost-benefit analysis should be; they're going to be different for each individual. All I'm saying is that one should think through thoroughly the idea of setting something on fire and inhaling the results into one's lungs, no matter what it is.
