9. Okay, this is kiond of hard to explain. I look on God and the Devil as kind of Jungian Archetypes - They have no real existence outside the minds of people, and were originally created by people [not the other way round], but at the same time have almost separate consciousnesses within us. In terms of the universe, I look on it from a very scientific point of view - God and the Devil and stuff are a purely psychological phenomenon, even though they have almost separate existences within us. The personality of these characters varies from person to person, but, since we create our gods, the "God" figure generally personifies what we see as "good", while the "Devil" figure is "bad". Despite this, my God is very different from [for example] Pinky's God, as they espouse different views [especially where it comes to tolerance].
The upshot is that God is nothing but a creation of our minds, but if created sufficiently well, can take on a separate existence. God and the Devil are not the only Archetypes that we create within us, we also contain the Child, the Bravo, the Wise Old Man, and so on. I just want to stress once more that these characters have no influence outside our minds.
12. And we're both English. What a coincidence...
