I ended up saving it with the sprite not there and when reloading it he came back to normal, phew.
I only got shocked the twice by one greeter in quick sucession, didn't get shocked again afterward
Oh, I'd understand it if I had the invulnerability cheat on, but I didn't, that is the thing. I should have died. Going to a new region didn't reset it for me though, I ended up going from the greeters place back to feeco afterward and I was still not there in feeco
