I sent an email to Ballistic and got a response almost immediately from Helen Snoswell:

The actual book is the same, only the cover and the addition of the display
case is different. And the hand signed certificate.
All our transactions are done in AU$ - the US$ price is converted to the
equivalent AU$ price before the transaction is processed - the Australian
banks being unable to work any other way
