Okay. I don't think this topic has caused problems. Considering the nature of the subject, people have been quite mature. Closing this topic would be making a mountain out of a molehill; for the situation is quite calm. If people can discuss things rationally and peacefully, there are no problems in my book. Just make sure you don't insult anyone.
As for the topic, we all seem to be beating a dead horse now, so to speak. Everything to say has been said and things are getting repetitive. I just want to finish up with a clarification to Pinkhaired.
You said the following directed at me: "you never listen to anyone but your own opinions ... You seriously don't back up anything with facts neither. It's not fair for me to believe what I want to believe, and you call me closed-minded?"
I listen to everyone, and I change my opinions if the individual presents a valid argument substantiated with facts. You have yet to do this. You simply spout your beliefs, declaring them as the ultimate truth, which are based on faith, not facts. On the other hand, I have produced fact after fact after fact to supplement my arguments.
It was you who called me closed minded. In response, I pointed out that it was quite the opposite, and explained why.
Nobody is saying you aren't entitled to your beliefs, but when they are based on faith, they have no place in an argument concerning facts. You can believe ANYTHING you want to, as absurd they may be. I respect that you believe in whatever it is you believe, but if it goes against established scientific facts then expect to be asked to back up your claims with facts, otherwise don't state them at all.
