Sure, she can
believe that humans are not animals, but when she corrects someone else for stating a fact, I'm going to give my opinion.
Sure, you don't
have to believe anything. You can believe that gravity doesn't exist, and when you fall over it is a demon striking you to the ground. But when you bring these kind of things into a discussion, expect people to disagree with you.
