Why, I happen to have acquired a preserved specimen myself. After the dissection and molecular analysis, I'll pass on the results. Of course, without actually observing a live specimen actually controlling the behaviour of its host I suspect my conclusions will be limited, but we still haven't sorted out the ethics of that one.
A world-class neurologist would be handy too, but all the ones I know are busy with the ongoing brain-slug invasion and the incessant yet unrelated headcrab shellings to be of assistance.
