The entire concept of conforming to the Christian doctrine which is accepted as 'good' seems pretty strange to me. Major Catholic churches in Australia preach that homosexuality in practice is a sin. Should I go against what I believe - that this is completely wrong and irrational - and assume that some obscure biblical reference dictates what is right or wrong?
Hell no. I'll do and think what I believe is right, backing it up with how I affect others.
Love others as you would love yourself, yes - but Christianity too often contradicts itself with this self righteousness.
Morality is completely subjective. Nobody has the right to preach that homosexuality is wrong when it doesn't have a negative effect upon anybody.
